We’re in the midst of the second act, with Soltana walking and knowing more of herself, Gideon meeting the inhabitants of the post Armageddon existence, and the strange branded shape-shifting creature known as Maw.
I had hit an issue when writing The Book of Soltana in that people still desired to read about Gideon and many don’t want to switch trains, so to speak. Readership dropoff was the result. So the hopeful fix was that having a major side story with Gideon and his new crew. It was a story I had been mulling over for a time and was probably going to bin it.
But now I’m adding it to Soltana and it has flowed pretty well. Some of what you’ll read I had dreamed of, which was fairly disquieting.
Until next time
